Nogomet

Nogomet, commonly known as football or soccer in different regions, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net, using any part of the body except the hands and arms (goalkeepers are an exception). The sport is governed by a set of rules called the Laws of the Game. It is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end, and matches are typically 90 minutes long, divided into two halves. Nogomet is one of the most popular sports worldwide, contributing not only to physical fitness and teamwork but also to cultural identity and community engagement across many countries.
