Sienne

Sienne refers to “Siena,” a city in Tuscany, Italy, known for its rich medieval history, art, and architecture. It is famous for its well-preserved Gothic buildings and its historic center, which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is particularly noted for the Palio di Siena, a historic horse race held twice a year in the Piazza del Campo, showcasing the fierce rivalry between the city’s contrade (neighborhoods).
